Frank Millward is a composer, musician and educator.

Frank Millward is an Australian / Italian composer, performer and educator. His music occupies a space between tradition and futuristic, emphasising the importance of the continuity of experience in the interplay between past and present. Working to synthesize musical exploration and philosophical inquiry, his work seeks to resonate with both the intellect and the senses, the idea and the sound, the performer and the listener. This is heard in recent works such as, Trying to Remember What I Chose to Forget, The Museum of Hope and Knowing Where to Belong. Millward is a composer with a sense of purpose who flourishes in collaborative partnerships and in large-scale community engagement.

Scores and pieces

Frank has a number of his works published by Wirripang. Since its establishment in 1987, Wirripang has become the leading Australian independent print music publisher of Australian classical and jazz music.
