Current Project

The Visual Voice - A collaborative research project involving Dr Frank Millward & Dr John Rubin - The Visual Voice

The Visual Voice project explores the connections between scientific visualization processes, artistic visualization processes and their relationships to sound, knowing that each informs the other and that the blurred divide between technical and artistic is interdisciplinary territory where innovation and new knowledge is created.

This research produces interactive multimedia outcomes that appeal directly to the senses, beyond verbal language, it explores the dilemma between reality and representations of reality and promotes the idea that such work can facilitate knowledge exchange between creative compositional processes, emotional well being and other related issues.
